About the WorkThis new work for grade 3/4 concert band will be predmoniantly lyrical, yet concluding with a powerful and exciting finale. It will draw on the full capabilities of the younger concert band and, despite its lyrical nature, will strongly feature percussion. The piece will also relate to both the character and beauty of my native state of Georgia. More complete program notes and a perusal score will be available in August 2016.
