Today is the world premiere of "Pictures of the Floating World" for sax quartet and percussion quartet here in Fort Collins. I am honored to have this being performed by not one, but two outstanding ensembles: the Oasis Quartet and the Vasanta Percussion Quartet. This is part of the 2nd biennial Aries Composers Festival here at Colorado State University. Hope to see you there!
Here's a beautiful multi-camera video of the premiere of "Garden of the Gods" performed by Joe Alessi and the Columbus State trombone choir under Dr. Brad Palmer. Check out this nice three-camera video of my work Lascaux for orchestra. It's a really stellar performance and thanks again to Maestro Kenney! "Kubla Khan" my recent work for chorus and percussion just received a wonderful premiere performance by the CSU Choirs and Percussion Ensemble under the baton of Dr. James Kim. You can watch the complete performance on YouTube below. Please support the new Kickstarter campaign for the album "A Beautiful Noise" featuring Joe Alessi performing my new work "Garden of the Gods" for solo trombone and trombone choir.
I am honored to have the University of Florida Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Ken Broadway performing "L'oiseau dans l'espace" with Don-Paul Kahl as soloist. Wish I could be there!
